Got quite a bit of positive feedback for the first blog "Tales of Woohoo, Live from GU", so I thought I'd blog during the Kansas City trip. You see, my grandfather always used to tell me "Nathan, life isn't about money, fame, or acquiring medallions. It's about keeping others informed, and keeping blogs about amazing road trips.". Okay...so I made that up, my grandfather didn't really say that. But the first part was true, I'm blogging in KC.

Okay everyone. Time for a ridiculous story. So, Brandon (GuinStL) and I had tickets for the Monday night games, but NOT tonights games. I talked to scalpers last night for an hour....the CHEAPEST thing i heard was $125 per ticket, for the VERY top row!!!! Wha Wha Whaaaaat!?!? I even tried to offer him $200 for the pair, and he said no!! Anyways, we kept looking around all over, no luck. So, Brandon was in an elevator on the way back to our room, and he asked the 5-6 people in their at the time if they had any extra tickets. This older gentleman turns around, and asks Brandon what he needs. Brandon tells him that he needs to tix for a couple zags fans, doesn't matter where the seats are, we just need to get in. The guy tells Brandon to come up to his room. He meets Brandon at the door........with TWO tickets for incredible lower level seats. Brandon is pretty much speechless, and the guy tells him 'just buy me a beer tonight at the game'. Wow.....yet ANOTHER example of this team having the greatest fan base there is. Stuff like this happens SO often, it's amazing. So, anyways, we are headed to the game tonight with amazing seats (that would have sold for $300-400 EACH). Just freakin incredible...
